Within this project, the aim is to capitalize on the existing results within the consortium by adapting and integrating the outcomes obtained by partners IW, UNSTPB, UTI, and INRMFB into the TRAVEE project.
Thus, based on the results achieved in previous research and innovation efforts relevant to this project’s purpose, the consortium partners have defined the operational objectives of the TraViMo system and the general functionalities of its component modules.
The objectives of the proposed project focus on the development of the component modules, their integration into the TRAVEE system, as well as the testing and validation of the system in relevant operational environments under controlled parameters.
Thus, the following operational objectives have been identified by the consortium:

Increasing the accuracy of motor imagery detection
Reducing the calibration time per user
Expanding the number of EEG device models that can be integrated and reducing dependence on external software platforms
Expanding the number of gamified VR exercises based on neurofeedback and visual movement augmentation
Creating effective VR environments for mental relaxation and mental focus/concentration of the patient
Integration with OpenVibe. Providing the developed BCI module to the research community (open source)
