APPROACH

The project aims to capitalize the existing results at the consortium level by adapting and integrating the results obtained by the UPB and TUI partners in the TRAVEE-PNII 1/2014 project. Through the activities preceding the proposed project, and in accordance with the results obtained in the previous research and innovation efforts with relevance for its purpose, the partners in the consortium defined the general architecture of the TRAVEE system and the general functionalities of the component modules.

The objectives of the proposed project aim at the development of component modules, their integration into the prototype TRAVEE system and its testing and validation in relevant operational environments with controlled parameters.

Thus, the following operational objectives have been identified by the consortium:

approach-1
  • Designing, implementation and validation of the early recovery stage exercises, using VR, EEG, FES, gloves, vibrations, and movement visual augmentation

  • Designing, implementation and validation of the gamified exercises for advanced recovery

  • Expanding the number of supported configurations and devices, both low-cost and mid-range

  • Improving the patient configurator, sessions, execution monitor and analyzer

  • Designing, development and validation of the minimalist telemedicine module (remote monitoring of patients, communication, and management of their progress)
